Triminghams necklace
We received this email from a former customer yesterday.
I have replied (in part) as follows:
Can anybody else out there help the customer?
Hi - I don't know enough about blogging to know best how to contact you - so I added a comment to your thanks to the Limey-guy and today I found the "contact us" link!
I recently lost my most favorite necklace that had come from Trimingham's some 25 years ago - ironically, just one week before the store actually closed! I think it was something that T's sold regularly. It was a gold coin with a wild boar on one side and a sailing ship on the other - about 1/2 inch in diameter.
I wondered if you all knew what has happened to the inventory - did it ALL get sold? Did another store buy some of it? Can you think of any way of tracking down? Do any of you recognize the pendant I've described?
I appreciate any response - even if it's negative. Thanks for thinking!

I have replied (in part) as follows:
Was the hog coin a 2 penny, 6 penny or 12 penny coin? Does it matter? All Trims inventory has been sold and today and tomorrow they are selling off the last of the office supplies. The coin shown on the left is from Crissons and you can see their web site at www.crissons.bm It is not as easy to get around as the Trimingham one used to be but it might be of some help. This coin is listed at $121.95 and is 14k gold
