Doghouse ties
Article about one of the ties that we used to sell in Triminghams. Many of you will remember it and how it sold for many years.

Triminghams Family Reunion
On February 6 2011, Joanne Veney and her team organised a Family Reunion for anybody who had worked at Triminghams in the past.
It was held at Fourways Inn and over 175 people attended for a great afternoon get together.
We hope to be able to post some of the many photographs taken at the event as soon as we get a few technical glitches out of the way.
Update: the pictures are now available online. See the Post dated March 7th for details
In the meantime, send us an email if there is anything you would like to see on these pages.

We're back
Over 2 years have passed since the last posting on this blog.
A lot of the pain and anger has now passed and everybody is settled into their new lives.
Last Friday (1st February), a dinner was organised at The Harbourfront for ex Trims 'alumni'.
A most enjoyable time was had by everybody, recounting old memories of the store and telling about their new jobs. We also celebrated the 65th birthday of a certain person.
All the pictures can be seen on in our photo gallery

New businesses.
News in today's Royal Gazette about Chris Taylor and Judy Rollins' new jewellery appraisal business. Click here for the full story and picture.
Last week there was an article about Shirley Richardson and her successful bridal business.
If anybody has any other news, please let us know so that we can tell the world.

Help locating Stephany
We have had an email from a former customer. Can anybody help? Just send an email and I will forward it to Tascha. Stephany was the Personal Shopper - I think
I was sorry to see that Triminghams Bermuda had closed. I had worked with Stephany regarding some books I purchased for a business group of people I had touring Bermuda in June 2004. I owe her a couple of frog items and want to let her know I haven't forgotten. Unfortunately with the close of the store I have no way to contact her let alone send her the items.
If anyone can help me I would appreciated it much.
Thank you,
Tascha

Great merchandise coming back
It seems that even though unknowing people have moaned about the Trimingham merchandise in the local papers, the buyers obviously knew what they were doing and purchased great products for the store.
Today's Royal Gazette confirms our update to the 'Mac is back' story. Gibbons has got the M.A.C. range and will be putting it into the old Guerlain store on Front Street.
While we are talking about great merchandise that was sourced originally by Triminghams buyers, A.S.Coopers are advertising Portmeirion in today's RG.
We will see a lot more of the fine brands that were stocked by Trims appearing in other local businesses in the next few months.
It was the talents of Trims staff that bought, promoted and sold these names on the Island in the first place and created the local demand.

Ronnie Chameau's memories
I missed this article in the Mid Ocean on July 22nd. It tells about Ronnie Chameau's good times working for Triminghams and I think many of us can relate to her feelings.
