It's all over

Triminghams finally closed their doors for the sale of merchandise last Saturday. There is a selection of pictures of the last day.
Be warned. These pictures are not for people of a nervous or sentimental disposition.

What's On In Bermuda
For those of you who read the great blog from Phil called A Limey in Bermuda, you will know that he has an interesting piece at the bottom of his sidebar with a listing of some upcoming events in Bermuda. We have now added the same to this blog. It is powered by a site called Upcoming.com and the updated feed is supplied by BigBold.com.If you want to add any events to the site, you can do so here.
"The Blackout"
Now that the worst of "The Blackout" is hopefully over, we can get back to a near normal existence. But thanks of course must go to all the members of the Bermuda Fire Service for their valiant work and to the Belco workers who have helped us to get our power back in a balanced way. To those members of our community who seem to think that reductions in their power usage do not apply to them, think again. I would not like to find that my power is being cut off because of your thoughtless waste of energy.

Thanks to the Limey
I would like to thank Limey in Bermuda for mentioning us on his great local blog. The word will slowly get out about this site! Tell your friends and former colleagues and let's hope we increase the number of contributions. Any stories about Triminghams will be welcome, but as I say in the first post, we will not publish anything that might be considered offensive.

Trims and KEMH
For any of you who follow other local Blogs, you will know about 'A Limey in Bermuda'. He has a Caption Competition every week and last week's was based on the new KEMH calendar. One of the entries was an edited version of the calendar cover.

Buy a copy of the calendar for $15 and see Judy Rollin (Miss December!) as you have never seen her before.
Other members of the TrimsCrew from days gone by are Sharon Nanini and Joan Cabral
