Triminghams finally closed their doors for the sale of merchandise last Saturday. There is a selection of pictures of the last day.

What's On In Bermuda

For those of you who read the great blog from Phil called A Limey in Bermuda, you will know that he has an interesting piece at the bottom of his sidebar with a listing of some upcoming events in Bermuda. "The Blackout"

Now that the worst of "The Blackout" is hopefully over, we can get back to a near normal existence. But thanks of course must go to all the members of the Bermuda Fire Service for their valiant work and to the Belco workers who have helped us to get our power back in a balanced way. To those members of our community who seem to think that reductions in their power usage do not apply to them, think again. I would not like to find that my power is being cut off because of your thoughtless waste of energy.

Tell your friends and former colleagues and let's hope we increase the number of contributions. Trims and KEMH

For any of you who follow other local Blogs, you will know about 'A Limey in Bermuda'. He has a Caption Competition every week and last week's was based on the new KEMH calendar. One of the entries was an edited version of the calendar cover.
