Thanks to the Limey
I would like to thank Limey in Bermuda for mentioning us on his great local blog. The word will slowly get out about this site! Tell your friends and former colleagues and let's hope we increase the number of contributions. Any stories about Triminghams will be welcome, but as I say in the first post, we will not publish anything that might be considered offensive.

I feel so selfish given the trauma to your own lives of the store's closing - but here's one for the weird files, coupled with a request.
My mother visited Bermuda some 25 years ago and bought a necklace for me. The pendant was a replica of an early Bermudan coin: wild boar on one side and sailing ship on the other. One week before the store actually shut its doors, I lost that necklace on a golf course in Colorado. After I stopped searching - with a metal detector - and stopped crying, I went to the Trimingham's web site...OK, so maybe it's only my grief that makes this seem so ironic!
The request: do any of you know what happened to Trimingham's inventory? Would there be any way of finding a replacement pendant?
Has anyone ever seen the pendant I'm describing? Did T's continue to make them? Do I sound pathetic?
